Save Local Waters

Wash cars and other equipment on the lawn or field rather than in driveways or streets. This will keep harmful chemicals out of our waterways and help the grass. If you have a sloping driveway and cannot wash your car on the grass, place a section of garden hose diagonally across the drive to divert rinse water into the grass. It will not harm the grass and it will keep pollutants out of the storm drains.
